UzhNU Chief Energy Engineer Anatolii Hychka shared with those present about the implementation progress of the project "Smart Energy of Cross-Border Cooperation" (CBC Smart Energy), within the framework of the joint operational program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020: The first stage of our work was conducting an energy audit in three buildings of UzhNU - the Faculty of Chemistry, the Faculty of Biology, Student Dormitory No. 2 to determine the main areas of work. The next steps were to update the lighting system, purchase a thermal imager, and install new meters at all university facilities with a GSM modem. We also have a lot of plans ahead. At the same time, since we are primarily a higher educational institution, we conducted training with students of the engineering and technical faculty and introduced a new discipline "Energy management with energy audit".
